Hi my name is Karen and this is my first JY holiday by plane. I previously did a coach trip two years ago to Lake Annacy which I enjoyed. I am 46yrs and wondering if there are any others travellers who live in the Dorset area going on this trip. If there are I would love to hear from you. Actually I wouldnt mind hearing from anyone who is partaking in this trip as it will at least break the ice. Look forward from hearing from anyone

Hi Colin thanks for reply, I wish on this website we had photos as would then recognise you when meet at Gatwick in September. Yes my name is Karen, but I logged in under a different name when I first started on this site a few years back. Oops! had better not mention to my son-in-law about where I am visiting as he is also an avid Star Wars Fan,as may volunteer to carry my bags and hitch a ride. Appreciate the reply and has made me feel less nervous.

Thanks for your suggestion.... Down side on your idea is that all the rest of the fellow passengers going on this holiday as well will keep well away from me and think me a right nutter. I may try your idea though and embaress you in return..

Thanks very much for your comments on our forthcoming trip. Yes I do feel a bit less nervous, now I know a name of someone else on the trip, who also has a sense of humour. Not long to go till we set off. I will have to start thinking about packing,currency etc very soon. See you there. Karen

Hi Karen, yes I have been on a just you holiday just once before, I went to Thialand a couple of years ago, I was so very nervous as Id never been on holiday on my own before but I soon made friends and had a really lovely holiday. Im from Leicester so like you Gatwick's a long way but its nice for us all to meet up at one airport so then at least we dont have to travel alone, silly really but thats the one thing im not keen on, getting through the airport, but by experience once thats done you're looked after brilliantly.

Anyway not long to go now must start thinking about going to get my last bits of shopping and the suitcase from the roof, starting to get a bit excited now are you ?. Look forward to meeting you Karen,

Hi Lorraine, thanks for reply. I have just received the tickets and am now really nervous but also looking forward to the holiday. As yet not even thought about the packing etc, the time seems to be slipping by. I agree once I am in the executive lounge meeting everyone else I will hopefully be fine. Its the checking in and going through customs I am not looking forward to.... I have travelled a lot, but the first time flying on my own. I hope my sister has remembered to book the day off I fly out or else I will not be going anywhere as she is driving me there.. Speak face to face soon.. From Karen

Hi Karen im also getting a lift there, I should be there about 10.30 which is when the check in opens so I was told by Just You. I rang them to ask about the lounge we all meet in because I didnt recieve anything about it with my paperwork, did you ?, I was told that a representative will be at check in from 10.30 and would direct us from there.

Ha Ha !! what alot to sort out hey, never mind we'll be on our hols soon, cant wait.

Hi Lorraine, no I didnt receive any info on executive lounge. I messaged Olly to enquire what happens and he stated we should have received a pass. Not checked if had a reply yet from him. Thanks for reminder again, after this I need to ring my sisiter to finalise arrangements. I am so dis organised this holiday, which is not normaly me. I expect I will arrive around the same time or even earlier, depending on traffic and hold ups. Fingers crossed its a clear run for both of us. Looking forward to meeting face to face. Not long now

Thankyou Caitlin for giving JY a push over the lounge tickets, haha fingers crossed they get here on time now, blimey lets hope everything else goes a bit smoother hey !!.

Hi Colin, no Tunisia isnt long haul so yes I was supprised check in opens so early but thats what JY told me, mmm !! shall we believe them haha !, I'll have to be there at that time though as the people giving me a lift have to drop me off early.
