i am really looking forward to it and meeting everyone.

be great if some of us could connect on here.

if anyone has any info on the liquid situation on trains, would be helpful. Are we allowed suncream that is more than 100ml?

Hi Sarah

I'm also booked on the the 18th May trip, i'm not sure what's allowed and what is'nt, i usually put sunscreen in my large case and decant some into a small bottle to carry with me when out on trips .

Im really looking forward to this holiday although i feel quite anxious about having to get a visa and vaccinations , and also taking prescription medication with me.

Anyway i'm really looking forward to meeting everyone on the trip and hopefully we will have a fabulous holiday .

Catherine.

Hi Every one. I'm booked on Inspirational China May 18 2026. Getting a visa is proving problematic . Has anyone else had success? Would value your experience. Hoping the agreed visa waiver will kick in asap. Look forward to meeting you all

Hi Catherine

Good to "e meet" you.

yes me too with the liquids, however have heard that on train it's subject to airport style security. So I am not sure if that means that nothing can be bigger than 100ml.

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere that's concise and clear.

I usually ask my GP to do a print off of my repeats meds, which at least shows they are prescription. I think sometimes you can ask GP to do a letter but they do usually charge then.

I am sure it's going to be a great trip!

are you staying over the night before?

Hiya

Nice to "e meet you"

I have looked up the visa process and it seems complicated. With two visits to London or Manchester after approval.

I don't think we can apply online until 3 months before we arrive into China. So this week I believe.

I too am hoping that the visa waiver kicks in soon.

challenge is I'm not sure I can take off time to do the in person visits if I hold off until closer to the travel dates.

it seems unclear online when it may kick in.

have you anymore thoughts on it?

will be worth it for all the wonderful things we will see.

Hi Sarah

Yes staying the night before , i'll be flying into the north terminal from Inverness , so booked into the Premier Inn.

Looks like we don't need a Visa now either , so thats something less to worry about.

Catherine.
