Hi

I know it seems a long way off, but I'm really keen to go on the Inspirational China trip in May next year.

It sounds so good, can anyone give me any tips or ideas on what to expect. This will be my first long haul trip with Just You.

many thanks

Christine

Hi Christine,

I did this tour in Sept 2014 and loved it - here's a link to my review:

https://forum.justyou.co.uk/thread-67925.html

The tour is busy but not ridiculously so - you will get a really good introduction to China, past and present and will see all the biggest highlights.  I hope to return in a few years and do the Roof of the World tour, if it's still available then!

Have a great holiday,

Bob

PS Any questions and I'd be happy to answer them!

Hello Christine,

I went on this tour in December 2015. I am vegetarian so was nervous about the food. We had 12-15 different dishes - veg and non-veg for lunch and dinner. We were fed well. I had a great time, China is a fascinating country. I would like to suggest if I may, depending on your age and physical condition, a walking stick will be very useful when climbing the Great Wall. I am sure you will enjoy the holiday very much.

Thank you Bob, that's really made my mind up and I'm definitely going to for it.

Thank you Dyuti - and top tip about the Great Wall !

Hi Christine,

I have just returned from China (November) and can toughly recommend this trip. As Bob

says it is a busy trip but it is also the best holiday i've ever had with Just You.

I  also booked the three gorges trip and i was glad i did as it gave me a chance to chillax before the return home.

Andy

Ps be prepared to have your picture taken a lot by the locals. Everyone we met were very friendly.

Hello

I am also thinking about the Inspirational China trip in either April or May 2018.

Has a TM been allocated yet for these dates?

Thanks

Hello Smiffy,

This was my first long-haul holiday with JY and I can endorse the comments above. A fairly crowded itinerary certainly, but so many marvellous sights. One thing not mentioned previously, most meals etc are included so I spent very little money - souvenirs and presents and little else.

An experience not to be forgotten!
