Hello  I am new to the site today. I have never been away on my own but my husband passed away in February and at 58 I still have a lot of places to visit on my want to do list. I am observing the holidays looking for next year when I hope to feel a bit more like myself. Not sure if its for me but hoping so.

Hi there

So very sorry for your loss.

I've booked on my first solo trip to Dubrovnik on Sept 20 and am looking forward to it.  I'll be happy to report back and tell you how I found it!

It's a big world out there with many places to visit and if no travelling companion is available there's some comfort in going with a group.

Bye for now.

Hi, like you I'm also a widow and I want to travel the world.  I went on my first trip with JY to Puglia, Italy this year and it was great!  There were many others on the trip in the same situation and it was a great way to meet new people and share travel experiences, many of whom I found had already been on multiple trips with JY.  I'm now going to Sri Lanka in October 25 and also doing the Spirit of India in February 26 with 2 lovely ladies I met in Puglia.  I can highly recommend JY.

Hi there I also am now widowed ,now 60 lost my husband 2 years ago now.

My first trip with Just you was to Canada 2 years ago now, then last year I went to Tuscany with them .

I am now off to America with them on the 8th October.

I would definitely recommend them for travelling when you are on your own .I have had some great experiences.
