I was thinking of this trip next year although some dates are already sold out.

Has anyone done this thrip - if so, any hints tips, what to take to wear etc.

Do we need visas for Afriaca?

Any innoculations required.

I shall be 76 by next year so hoping this isn't too old.  Thanks for help.

Hi Jenny,

There was a similar question, which may have crossed with yours, a few days ago which I answered. See "South African safari adventure" in this thread.

In brief this is a new trip so there are no current reviews. No visas for British passport holders and no current innoculation requirements but check with your doctor re any specific needs.

Subdued clothing on safari and usually fairly relaxed in camp.

As long as you can get up in the morning for early drives age is no hindrance 🙂

I am going on this trip on 17 Sept, will post feedback afterwards.  I am really looking forward to this trip, I went to Kenya in February but did not see any big cats so hoping will see some on this trip.

Hello Jenny,

Have booked for next July and I will be 74 by then. Not in the least worried, am sure it will be fine.

Hi,

It is usually relaxed in camp so no worries there.

If you want a taster and have Freeview on your TV you can go to channel 91 which is a wildlife channel. On their "Safari" programmes they often have "live" film of sightings at Mabula - the reserve we go to. Enjoy.

I am all ready for November and will post when I get back.
