Hi

I have been on five trips with Just You and although most of the hotels are good, not marvellous, but ok, I am concerned that the TRH Mihas has some terrible reviews on Trip Advisor, particularly regarding cleanliness, poor food and poor maintenance.

I have never had a bad hote with JY, so i would be surprised if oit is really that bad.

Anyone been there?

Dear David,

Thanks for getting in touch with us with regards to the TRH Mijas.

The hotel is a typical and very traditional 4* Spanish style property.  We have used the hotel for a number of years now, and while some people love the more traditional style and atmosphere, it is fair to say that others prefer something a little more modern and newer.

The location of the hotel is a big plus. It has a bar terrace with incredible views across the bay, a stunning seasonal outdoor pool area, well-received spa facilities, and is within easy walking distance into beautiful Mijas town with its local shops, bars & restaurants.

Breakfasts at the hotel receive good reviews from Just You customers, and dinner buffet selections are vast so you’ll have lots of choice. We hope this helps and we hope you have a wonderful holiday. If there’s anything else we can help with, please let us know.

Best wishes,

Just You

I will be doing this tour later in the year and was initially a bit put off by Tripadvisor reviews, but reviews on some other sites are more positive which is encouraging.

However I was a bit startled to see someone on one of the other sites saying that there's a charge for towels as well as for tea, coffee and milk in the rooms. I don't mind paying for tea and coffee but I wouldn't expect to have to pay for towels, I imagine they meant pool towels, can JY please clarify.

I'm still looking forward to it as there are some lovely excursions and I know that some people only do a review if they feel they have something to complain about.  If there is a major issue I'm sure the TM will sort it. I can't wait to see the Alhambra Palace!!!

Hi,

I did this JY trip in Sep last year. The hotel was absolutely fine for what you pay . Id say a 3star at best  but clean , traditional and reasonable meals. The location is great though - and a few of us always walked into town after dinner each night to enjoy the village and its hostelries!! The trips are what makes this holiday worth going on- make sure to book the Alhambra Palace and Rhonda!

Hope you enjoy- and take your own tea bags/coffee!! :)
