Hello everyone

I need to have a break away, something nice and relaxing, not too far away s somewhere in Europe.  Any recommendations?  Or where are you going this year 2024.

Hi, Sharon. I have not been to a lot of places in Europe. For a relaxing break, I would recommend either Norway and Portugal. Norway has lots of beautiful fjords. I have been there twice but have not seen the northern lights on both trips, maybe you'll have better luck. In Portugal, I avoided summer, so there will be fewer crowds. But if you like the beach, definitely check out Porto Santo Beaches in the Madeira archipelago.

Norway or Portugal sounds lovely for a relaxing trip. How about Slovenia? It's gorgeous place with a slow pace of life, gorgeous scenery, and coastal views.
