Hi Vickie

I am on the Norway Huskies & Northern Lights Adventure departing from Luton on 18th February,  please could you supply me with the following information regarding flights

1 is this a direct flight to Tromso as the itinerary mentions via Oslo

2 as we arrive one hour before the Gatwick flight do we have to hang around for their flight to come in or would we be getting transferred direct to our hotel on arrival as it's only a short distance

3 how many are flying from Luton and how many from Gatwick

4 what is the M/F split please all together

and finally...5 its always nice when the TM posts to say she/he is doing the Tour, i've never been lucky enough to have that before,  is Linda and i'm guessing she will be flying from Gatwick,  therefore i'm also guessing a representative or coach/bus/car driver will be there to meet us on arrival in Tromso

Thanks Vickie i'm really looking forward to this trip as never been away at this time of year before

all the best

Dave

Hi Dave,

I'm just getting confirmation on questions 1 and 2 so I'll get back to you ASAP on those.

There 24 people booked on this trip in total, 6 people flying from Luton and 3 from Gatwick.

There are 5 men and 19 women and their ages range from early 30s to late 70s.

Linda is flying with the group from Luton. Yep we will have a coach with a rep waiting for you on arrival 🙂 I will see if Linda can post on the forum to say hello before you go.

Thanks,

Vickie

Hi Vickie,

The numbers you’ve supplied as flying from Luton and Gatwick don’t add up to the total group number of 24 - unless there are 15 people ‘making their own way’! Could you look at these numbers again for Dave please?

Also, I think you’ll find that TM Linda has already left a post on the forum under the username ‘moggypawprints’.

Cheers

Mike

Hi Mike,

Oops, sorry it looks like this is an error with our system, I've asked our web team to have a look. I've manually checked everyone's bookings and there are 12 people flying from Gatwick, 10 people flying from Luton, 1 from Heathrow and 1 from Glasgow.

Thanks,

Vickie

Hi Dave,

I now have confirmation on questions 1 and 2.

Apologies but the itinerary sent to you was incorrect, you do fly direct to Tromso. This was an internal error, we have now corrected this and we will send you out a new itinerary with the correct flight details.

It's our policy to transfers all customers together when they arrive and depart within an hour of each other, so there will be a little bit of a wait at the airport before you all go to the hotel together.

Many thanks,

Vickie

Hi Dave

Looks like you are set up for another amazing adventure! I am already looking forward to your review   as this is a country I hope to visit in the future.

I saw the Northern Lights in Churchill a few years ago - however the thing that I remember most about that night is just how COLD my hands were - in the rush to get outside to see the lights I had left my gloves in the lodge - so wrap up warm - break out the thermals top to toe - no Crocs this time!

Have a great holiday!

Vietnam and Cambodia was overall an amazing experience - went kayaking for the first time ever in Halong Bay, clambered through the Cu Chi tunnels, numerous rickshaw style rides, sat in a coracle in the shelter of mangroves during a tropical storm, threw out a fishing net from a small boat, explored various temples and palaces, blessed by a smiling monk at Angkor Wat, enjoyed tasty meals with so much fresh seafood - the largest prawns I have ever seen! - even learned how to make spring rolls and drank an awful lot of cocktails!

Saw your Burma review - looked like you had a good time! Looking forward to photos from Norway!

Have fun!
