Hello there,

Could you give me an idea of the level of fitness required please.  I live in London and whilst I walk a lot it is mostly flat, so I wondered if I should get out & about hiking on a more varied terrain.

I have also joined the gym!!

Thank you

Hi Landy,

This is one of our Active rated tours, so they do require a higher level of fitness and mobility, as they do include plenty of walking.

If you would like to talk through the tour in more detail, please give one of our advisers a call as they will be able to answer any questions you may have about the activity levels

Well done on joining the gym! 😃

Many thanks,

Vickie

I had an enjoyable walking holiday with JY in June in Yorkshire and I commented that JY should give more explanations of the walks i.e. height, terrain etc. Its no good just giving miles.  I can do lengthy walks but not good on heights, especially those with a severe "drop".  If JY are going to incorporate more active/walking holidays then this is a very important point.  I am reluctant to book another holiday with JY, especially abroad, until I am given more information in brochure i.e. they should be "graded".
