I was wondering, as we are flying with Jet2 and Easy Jet for this holiday, and you can check in with both 28 days before departure, would you be able to let me know the flight numbers? I ask as I’m recovering from a hip replacement and would be grateful if I could have a greater choice of seats for both flights.

Do you know how many of us are now on this tour (age/gender breakdown), and who our tour manager will be please?

Hi Paul , today I took the plunge and booked this trip , so far 15 people are going on this trip and I have read some positive feed backs from the forum . There are afew traveling from Newcastle airport, I think the age rage is 40 and over . hope this helps .

I couldn’t get in using those references but I found my latest holiday documents from JY and the correct details are on there. I’m checked in for my Jet2 flight but I had to pay £11 to choose my seat before it would let me check in, I don’t normally have to pay for a standard seat on my JY flights. In the blurb on the Jet2 website it states they allocate a seat, but I did not have one allocated and it wouldn’t let me check in otherwise. My suitcase was on my booking, as expected. I even tried choosing a middle seat near the back of the plane and it still wanted to charge me. Will this be the case with my Easyjet booking?

My hip is much better thanks. I’m looking forward to doing the trip again, normally I don’t do the same tour twice (got so many other places I want to visit), but as I’m still recuperating I thought I’d do this one again without the optional tours this time and have a more relaxing holiday. Some holiday destinations don’t have much near the hotel, but I love the location of this hotel and I’m really looking forward to having a good look round Mijas this time ?.

I am fine thanks. Have been to Sicily, South Africa and Sri Lanka since we last met and am off to Portugal tomorrow for a week's holiday. Visited Mijas during holiday to Andalusia with another company last year. Lovely little town and particularly enjoyed visit to chocolate factory. Have a lovely holiday and take care.

Apologies for the delay, I was just waiting to hear back from the team.

We have spoken to Jet2 who have advised that you needed to have clicked on “continue” which would bypass the seat map then Jet2 will auto allocate you a seat.

The same should apply to Easyjet but unfortunately I am unable to check as you will need to enter passport details before you can proceed to the check in online part.
