I would suggest that you take Turkish lira as this is the currency in Northern Cyprus.

I am Traveling to Northern Cyprus for the walking Tour what currency do you suggest I take?

I went to Northern Cyprus with Just You a few years ago, suggest you also take some Euros, as the hotel we stayed at worked in Euros at the bar.  Had to ask them to convert in Lira, which they were not too happy about.
