Hi Mildred, I'm still exploring different options I'm afraid! Has anyone booked Crete for 6 Sept yet? I know it was only launched in September so it is very early days. Also I'm a bit surprised with the description of the tour, it states wonderful wildlife but I wouldn't have expected this in Crete?!

Thanks Mildred - I notice you didn't elaborate much on the wildlife aspect!!  I did a bit of online research and there does seem to be quite a variety in the White Mountains so that has made me all the more interested in this tour.  The hotel gets FANTASTIC reviews on TripAdvisor and given its great location - on the waterfront and near the town centre with many tavernas and restaurants within walking distance, this has made me very interested in doing this tour.  I may well book it over the next few weeks and not worry about flight times for the Azores any more!  I have never dithered so much over booking a holiday before, there's just too much choice!

I went to Crete in 2000 and it is a lovely island. Much better than Rhodes. You will have a nice time. I too was looking at this trip, but since I have been there once I rather concentrate on places I have not been to.

Mr Gray, I'm disappointed that you haven't factored Jersey into your dithering!

We have silver back gorillas and orang-utans here you know (and I don't just mean in our Government..... 😃 )

Hi Jaya and Mandy, thanks for your comments!  Like Jaya, I'm trying to focus on countries I haven't been to before - and I've never been to Greece!  It's looking very likely I'll book this next week.

I will happily visit Jersey when I've run out of new countries to visit!
