Hi

I am wanting to buy a new case/bag ready for my trip to New York in September I just wondered what our baggage allowance is so I don't get anything to big. How much and what do people take to wear?

Hi claston,

You will be allowed up to 23kg (up to 90 x 75 x 43cm) for the piece of luggage you check in. In terms of what to pack, casual clothes and a light jacket would be ideal and remember you'll be doing lots of walking so very comfortable walking shoes are an essential. I would recommended saving some room and weight in your suitcase in case you decide to buy any goodies.

Kindest regards,

Monty

I have been on many JY USA tours including NY twice, people wear casual clothes and go for layers as the weather can change, you might want to put in a few bits that are smarter. I take a large case, but I put in a soft hold-all as well which then can go in the overhead bin on the plane, as I do like to buy clothes for myself and grandchildren along the way..

Have a great trip any questions just ask! ...
