Monty (or anyone thats been),

Can you tell which if any of the hotels have free wi-fi on the Cuba holiday.

Also is there wi-fi on the bus (just deciding whether its worth taking my tablet).

Thanks

Mick

Hi Mick,

I hope its not too late!!!! There will be wi-fi in all of the hotels you are staying in, apart from one. Also, it is very unlikely to have wifi on your bus.

Have a great trip!!

Kindest regards,

Monty

Hi Monty, that's good to hear as I'm thinking about doing Cuba in 2017. On a previous thread someone said that there was no wi-fi in Cuba at all, so things are obviously improving!

Best wishes,

Bob

Hi All

I went to Cuba last year and there was no wifi only dial up which took forever and was not free. I'm not sure whether things have improved that quickly, but .....

When I was in Cuba in March only dial up was available, it was very slow and expensive. There was good mobile service, even for my trusty Tesco pay as you go !

Ah-ha! I think it must have been you who mentioned this before Sylvia! I wonder have things changed so much in a year? No doubt Mick and Sally will find out soon enough!

Cheers,

Bob

No Wi Fi in any of the Hotels I visited in May 2015. Only Dial up which was horrendously slow and very expensive.

Absolutely no chance of WiFi on the bus.

Sorry ! !

I did the Sept trip. Wifi is available and costs about 4.50 CUC an hour . In Havana, the only place I tried it , it was soooooooooo slow I couldn't do much in an hour. The problem is there are lots of people outside in the street tapping into the hotel wifi - they do pay by buying cards though. No point taking a tablet if it's just for internet use.
