I was wondering how many people are booked on the 10th of June trip to Pompeii, Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. Also was wondering about the flight times as the holiday itself is not on the website.

Any help would be great as I am a newbie at this.

At the moment there are 4 travellers booked on this trip.

In terms of flight times these are provisional at this stage, are subject to change and would be confirmed in your final documents. If you are flying from London Gatwick the flight times are:

Depart LGW: 07:20

Arrive LGW: 13:30

I have been to Pompeii several times on my many trips to Sorrento back in the day, but never to Herculaneum. I hope that it stays on the schedule for next year, as I probably won't be able to afford to go another trip this year after the Battlefields, and it's one I shall add to the thoughts for next year if JY keep it on.

Just wondered if there have been any more bookings for the 10th June.

That is very reassuring!

After many years of going on single parent holidays with my son, he has finally reached 18 and no longer wants to travel with me. I have always wanted to go to Pompeii and have two dates in mind, the 16th Sept and the 23rd Sept. I live in Cheshire so it will be a very nervous trip down to Gatwick for me but i will just have to bite the bullet and go for it. Could you please tell me how many people are booked on these two dates and if possible their ages.

Well, first of all - welcome to the world of solo travel! I'm sure as you look through the community you'll find words of reassurance from our members that will help you take that first step.

For the Pompeii, Sorrento & the Bay of Naples tour the current numbers are;

16th September: 3 travellers booked with ages from early 20s to late 80s

23rd September: 2 travellers booked with ages in early 40s and early 70s.

With a number of months before these dates depart, these will change so please feel free to ask for updated.

I have just received some paperwork through the post. Does this mean that the 10th of June trip has been given the green light. I don't want to book my travel insurance until I know it is going ahead.
