I've just come back from the South African Explorer ( what an amazing holiday). We stayed in 8 different hotels. I seem to remember some of them having a socket that fits different types of plug, but some only had the South African socket. I bought my adaptor on Amazon ages ago, but you will definitely be able to get one at Heathrow in Dixons. I would like to point out that the neutral and live pins don't have that plastic bit on, unlike UK plugs, so you need to keep your fingers away from the pins when plugging in as I nearly found out to my cost! Unfortunately Amazon cann only offer Standard delivery 3 to 5 working days, and knowing my luck it will probably not arrive before I leave. do hope I can get one at the airport. When I go into town will look in Boots but not hopeful of getting one in my branch as it is not a particularly large one. Val
