Hi Ben, JY Will and all involved at JY,
I have a new suggestion for you! This is something I've thought about numerous times over the last few years and it's somewhere I think JY sell themselves short. For me, often the best part of the holiday has been the optional excursions, some of which I only learnt about when I got my 12 week mailing package. For example, on the Victoria Falls add-on to the S Africa tour, there is just a generalised paragraph in the brochure/website mentioning some of the things that it is possible to do while there. It doesn't mention the day trip to Botswana visiting Chobe National Park, the elephant safari, microlite or helicopter flight over the Falls, the Royal Livingstone Express dinner etc. These excursions are what made the holiday so special for me and I think if they were mentioned in the description it might encourage others to book a particular holiday. I understand that sometimes it might not be possible to run all the optionals depending on various circumstances, but you could phrase it like "typical of the excursions on offer would be...however, not all might be available on all dates" or something similar. I've booked the Cambodia add-on to the Vietnam tour for next Feb and once again, there is just a generalised description (which sounds wonderful!) but I'm waiting with bated breath for the itinerary to find out exactly what's on offer!
Hope this is helpful, what do you think?
Cheers,
Bob
