Hi Olly,

I understand that there is now a 2nd edition of the brochure for 2010. I have just requested my new copy but I would have thought this would automatically be sent out to us regular JY people. Does this mean that in future we will have to request the new brochures when they come out?

I'm not sure why you didn't get that brochure if you usually receive our mailings. It might be a good idea to sign up for our brochures again, to make sure you get them in future.

In the meantime, I've asked our brochure department to send the 2010 2nd edition to you straightaway, so you should get it soon.

I also hav'nt received the latest brochure for 2010 - the last one I had was in the summer - the one with poppies on the cover. I recently booked a holiday to the US from it and found that the insurance for my age group was £20 more than was stated in the brochure and the balance has to be paid 10 weeks before departure date.

I've asked our brochure department to send you the 2nd edition today, so you should receive it as soon as the current postal chaos ends!

I understand the rules on paying the balance have changed since the last brochure was published and the deadline is now 10 weeks before departure.

I'm sorry that there was confusion about your insurance but it's difficult for me to comment without knowing the circumstances. I'd suggest you give our customer advisors a ring on 0800 567 7393, as they will have full details of your booking and insurance details.

Thanks. The new 2010 brochure arrived that afternoon - what service - plus there were 2 so I have passed 1 on to a friend. Ohh spoilt for choice! Decisions, decisions.... I am looking forward to the reunion next weekend when I can meet up with some JY friends again. Then start thinking about Xmas in Germany. Ain't life grand!!

Thanks, Olly for getting the '10 brochure so quickly - it arrived the day I got your message so it must have got here the day after it was posted. All my queries were answered in this brochure - the insurance is now more expensive for American/Canadian holidays and the full payments deadline is now 10 weeks.
