Can anyone advise me please for the trip to Namibia, are walking boots recommended or will normal trainers suffice?

I was there a couple of years ago and normal trainers are fine or even walking sandals.

HI Matty,

You definitely need closed shoes for the sand dunes. Trainers are fine though.

I wore sandals for the dunes as do not like sand in shoes. I even walked barefoot - the sand was cool as it was morning.
