So, I finally got round to booking my dream holiday and I am off to Vietnam in October this year...Eeek!

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to book and thank you for all your wonderful reviews and positive feedback from your own holiday experiences, it is so lovely to hear everyone's tales.

I know it is a way off yet, but if anyone is also going on this trip it would be lovely to hear from you.  To say I am a tad nervous is an understatement!

I visited Vietnam with JY five years ago and loved it - the scenery, culture, food; everything was wonderful!  I am sure you will have a fantastic time and hopefully this will be the start of many adventures with JY.

Other than Clive W and I, is anyone else in the JU Community going?

I am finding it difficult to get Vietnamese Dong over here, but I don't want the hassle of using ATM's when I arrive. 

Anyone else had this problem?

Don't worry about Dong.  You will be able to use dollars in most places.  Your TM should arrange time for the group to get Dong at the airport which you may need for markets.

I got dong from M&S travel services last year.  Dollars were easily exchanged in all the hotels we stayed in.
