Hi Jonsie

Although I am not on your tour as I am going on 10th May 2018 I wondered if the choice of hotel for this tour influenced your decision to book. I had been debating wether to book as the original hotel (Il Settebello) did not have the best of reviews on general review sites not just JY reviews. However the Hotel Tamerici had very good general reviews which therefore influenced my decision to book. There is a thread on 'walking in tuscany' which doesn't show the hotel in the best light. HELP is there anyone else out there with good or bad reviews of this Hotel.

I have stayed at ll settebello, on Tuscany highlights tour, I did leave a review a few years ago, please do not base a tour around the hotel it’s what your seeing that makes the holiday. My room was small it was adequate but I didn’t spend time in it other than to sleep. Hotel staff are lovely, food ok I am a vegetarian, meat eaters didn’t have any complaints, generous drink measures etc. Lovely veranda to sit natter and drink on. So yes room wasn’t the best, but the sights I saw were amazing.

Hi Paul no the choice of the hotel has no influence on my decision , the reviews for the Tamerici hotel were mixed about rooms but as we will only be sleeping in them am not bothered.  Food review are quite good hope you enjoy your tour ? Jonsie x
