Hello,

I am considering the tour Inspirational china and was seeking advice regarding the optional addon of the Yangtze Gorges cruise. How much of the tour is spent on the cruise and how much time is spent on land visiting new areas. Which areas are visted along the cruise? Do you have long in these areas? Is it mainly free time to explore or are you guided around? Any advice, suggestions, recommendations or reviews gratefully recieved. Thank you misse

Hi misse, I am interested to read that you are considering the Inspirational China trip. I am looking at this for later on this year or early next year.

I went on this cruise in July

Getting to the boat is a new way to enjoy china .We flew from Shanghai to Wuhan then a coach to the train and then another coach journey to the boat. if you are joining at Chonquing then you'll fly there. There are 5 boats and they travel together tying up alongside each other at night. this can mean that you open your curtains and look straight into the next cabin, which I did with no kit on .I recommend that you go on all the trips. have fun its worth it!
