Hi All,

I'm torn between the above 2 tours ... does anyone have any tips that might help me decide?

I'd be looking at the 21st May departure for Italy or the 23rd May for Spain.

Mildred - are you able to let me know current numbers booked (age range & gender split too)?

Many thanks!

Good Afternoon Jellifer,

For the 21st of May departure, there are currently 10 travellers booked and the group is made up of 10ladies.

The age ranges from late-40s to early-70s.

For the 23rd of May departure, there are 12 travellers currently booked and the group is made up of 4 men and 8 women.

The age ranges from late-50s to early 80s.

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Jellifer

I went to the Cilento Coast in September and loved it so much I'll be going on 21st May too!

San Marco, where the hotel is, is a nice little place with a bar on the harbour, and a few local shops and some lovely little restaurants and a great pizzeria on the Church's piazza. Its sister town, Santa Maria, is a nice walk through gardens, a little bit of quiet road and then along the beach and is much bigger with far more shops and restaurants. You'll go there and to Castellabate (perched up high above San Marco and Santa Maria) on the orientation bus tour - well worth taking.

The hotel is lovely with lots of places to sit and have a quiet read or have a drink and meet friends - indoors and outdoors, and there are lots of sun-loungers and umbrellas around the pool and on the small private beach.  The other guests are mostly Italians who come for a few days.

The spa is fabulous! All you need is your swimsuit and the wristband, robe and flip-flops you'll find in your room.

If you're flying from Gatwick I'd recommend staying the Yotel. The cabins are spotless, utilitarian, but have everything you'd need for an overnight stay - they make a fab hot chocolate!

I hope that info help you make up your mind :-)

Best wishes

Samantha

P.S. In September there were (probably) 5 chaps and 25 ladies but as women always get along that didn't seem to be a problem!

🙂 If you want relaxation, tranquillity, in a small place, with some excursions (Paestum is awesome!) then this one is for you!
