Hi - I am packing for the October 5th departure of the trip to the American National parks and am wondering if I will need walking boots??

Good Morning Virginia Hayes,

It is not a walking holiday as such so I doubt people would bring proper walking boots but I would recommend sensible walking shoes that will be comfortable for periods of walking/standing and flat.

Kind Regards,

Mildred.

Hi Virginia,

I did this tour in 2013 and there is no need for walking boots - as Mildred has suggested, ordinary shoes with a decent grip will be fine.  There is a bit of walking over rough surfaces but nothing too difficult.  This is a fabulous tour, you will love it!

All the best,

Bob
