Just booked my first trip with Just You to Discover Apuglia 12th October. Really looking forward to visiting Matera. Love to hear from anyone else booked on this trip.

Hi

Did this trip last September. Apulia is very different from the other areas of Italy I have visited. Matera was very interesting and you get a real flavour of how the people existed in these small houses. Other towns visited are lovely. Lunch at the masseria is an experience. My only reservation was in relation to the hotel. I didn't feel it lived up to its four star rating and its location in a hilltop village was not ideal. Personally, I would have preferred a seaside location.

Hope this helps

I totally agree with Lesley. The masseria lunch was exquisite. The hotel was very friendly and clean and the food sometimes really good - but it could have been better placed. But you are in for a treat - it's a lovely area of Italy and Marsha is an ace guide.

My only real disappointment was that there was no time to look around Bari.

Hi new wings

I have just booked the last seat on this holiday yesterday for 12 October. This will be my second Just You holiday; went on the Heart of Alpine Europe tour to Austria in June and really enjoyed it.

As I live in Newcastle, I will be travelling down by train on the Sunday and staying overnight at the Premier Inn at Gatwick airport. Are you staying overnight too? Look forward to meeting you.

Hi Pauline

I am really looking forward to this holiday. I live in NW London and am mulling over if I should travel down early in the morning or do an overnighter in a hotel.

Look forward to meeting you. I too am really looking forward to this holiday as it is an area of Italy that I have never visited. What is your first name, so I will know who you are when we meet?
