I will be in lake bled at Christmas/New year. Has anyone been this time of year and what's it like with mosquitos and insects?? as I always get bitten.

I went to Lake Bled for Christmas a couple of years ago. Wasn't bothered by insects or mosquitoes as it was too cold for them!
