Hello Sue,

I saw the Northern Lights last year on a day trip. We were supposed to see it on top of a mountain, instead a snowstorm made fun of that! Eventually saw them on the way home when the plane flew around searching for them :)

Part of the trip also involved driving a husky sled which is probably one of the most exhilerating joys of my life

Have a great time.

DEAR

JAN

GLAD YOU HAD A GREAT TIME. MY QUESTION IS THE HUSKY SLED RIDE. I AM DISABLED WITH A REPLACEMENT HIP AND WRIST. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE GO AHEAD, BUT IN ONE OF THE GUIDES I BOUGHT IT SAID NOT FOR THE UNFIT. IS IT

SUITABLE DO YOU THINK OR IS IT HARD TO HOLD ON ETC.

GRATEFUL FOR YOUR ADVICE AS I AM REALLY LOOKING

FORWARD TO IT. PS HOW COLD WAS IT AND WHAT MONTH

DID YOU GO. THANKS FOR ANY HELP AND TIPS.

I did this trip in February this year with Travelsphere . The Huskie ride was great. We were told do not hold on to the sides of the sledge and do not let your feet stick out through the sides either. The sledges are very low onto the ground and the ride we did was fast and bumpy. I would think that when you get to Camp Tomok they will advise you if it would be suitable for you. It was around zero to 10 degrees so not too cold. Its a really good trip.

Hello Sue,

I went in February and given extra insurance as there were not enough drivers. I spent the whole hour driving while the 70 year old woman sat in the sled for the trip. We were supposed to change half way around but Mary was not capable of driving.

They gave us boots and warm snow suits which were amazing. I know someone was filming where the trail crossed a road. I would love to see it. We were flown into Ivalo, Finland and had a great time.
