I would suggest ringing JY or posting this question on the editors board, JY should be able to give you the MOST uptodate news on this situation. they won't ever send a tour out if it's not safe.

October is a long time away so wait before you cancel. Just You will cancel if they feel it is not safe to travel to Israel.
