If anyone has been on the South Africa tour with Zambia add-on, could they please advise if the hotels have hairdryers (very important for us ladies!) and what type of plugs are used. Many thanks in anticipation.
I have just returned from this tour. All hotels except the Windsor in Hermanus provided hairdriers in the rooms: but I was able to borrow one from reception there. Amazon sell uk to South Africa adaptors. These also work for Zambia. My room in Zambia also had a universal socket.
I had a really amazing time. Stunning scenery along the garden route and on the Cape Pointe tour, seeing the big five in Kruger, Victoria Falls and a helicopter ride, then a final day on safari in Botswana. I hope you have as great a time asI did
