I am going to Florida September 4th 2014, I am really looking forward to it, especially the Everglades. Wasn't sure when to book, was trying to avoid the Hurricane season.

Hurricane season officially is 1st June until November but peak months are August to October, so september is slap bang in the middle of it, but odds are you'll get lucky and avoid them.

I'm doing Americas Heart & Soul which finishes in New Orleans and have opted for November (not sept) for that reason. I've twice before planned to go to NO and had my plans changed for Hurricanes Katrina (late august 2005) and Gustav (early sept 2008), ended up in Memphis & San Antonio instead and had a great time.

great choice of tour, I went on the first tour in May last year we all had a great time. A few tweaks have been made to the tour which makes this look even better, if there is anything you need to know just ask.

Only thing which is disappointing is that don't go to seaworld which was a really good day don't know why they took that of the trip and only half day at space centre.

I think they have swapped sea world for EPCOT now, we were the first tour party out and I can't say we were that excited about sea world it was suggested EPCOT would be better... You can always opt out of something and do your own thing. The itinerary is different now, but the day we went to Space centre a few of the tour party went to another theme park that was their choice..

Hi Cindy - I am also thinking of doing Florida but, the overview states that there is some walking. Can you say how much this involves and whether it is straightforward or in any way "hilly".
