Reading the threads on the Florida holiday I notice that on-one has mentioned the weather. I am hoping to go in November. Can anyone who went in November last year let me know what the weather was like. Also, any tips where to go apart from what is listed in the brochure. Thanks.

I cannot help you with the weather question I went in May last year and it was very HOT!, regarding where to go in the free time, I was on the first tour, and I do know the itinerary has changed slightly, when I went there was not much free time, the free time was spent finding somewhere to eat and a little shopping. I hope some one who has been on the new tour can answer more.

I have not been on the Florida trip with JY but I have been to Florida several times and always in November. It is quite hot but not as humid as in the summer months. Down the Keys and Key West will be very hot. 80s f. You do get the occasional afternoon storms but they don't last long. Love Florida will go again one day.

I went on the Florida trip in November last year, there were some cloudy days and some very hot days, a mixture really, I don't like it too hot so it was the best time for me to go. I would recommend you take a couple of jumpers or light jackets as well as your usual summer clothes. As regards to other things to do, like Cindy said there is very little free time as the tour is pretty full on. There are a couple of days you will have some free time, which some people just wanted to have a rest and relax, but the tour guide will always give you some options that you can do by yourself or with others on the trip if you wish. I went to the theatre of the sea on my free day in Islamorada, they have dolphins (which you have the option to swim with) sea lions and lots of other animals, it was a very enjoyable way to spend some time. Some of the others went fishing or diving or kayaking, so there are lots of choices. You will have a great time, it was my 1st trip with JY and my first time in USA, I absolutely loved it, really great bunch of people. I'm jealous, I wish I was going again this November. If there's anything else you'd like to know just ask. All the best Angela.

I am sure if you really want to visit Seaworld you can, just go there instead of Epcot, the choice is yours you don't have to do what is in the itinery, it is your holiday. I know the itinery has changed since I went but when we went to Space Centre a few went on their own to another theme park as they didn't want to see the space centre.
