Hi Peter

Costa de la Luz is lovely. I went there last year. It is a very relaxing holiday with right balance of excursions and free time. There is not too much walking.

Regards

I arrived back yesterday from Costa de la Luz, beautiful part of Spain, very well maintained, lots of places to visit, Seville is amazing. My hotel (Punta Umbria Mar )was about 50minutes walk to the town but the beach walk is lovely. The Spanish go there so it must be good.

Hope you enjoy your holiday.

Hello Peter

Just back from Costa de la Luz. A very different and lovely part of Spain - well away from the busy tourist bits. Very little English spoken and it was lovely to be in a 'real' Spanish area. You may want to brush up on a few words in Spanish.

To my shame I couldn't even remember how to say Good Morning/Evening/night in Spanish - let alone thank you very much when they kept pouring my drinks !!

Went on trips - Saville is beautiful !!

The Christopher Columbus trail is fascinating and would highly recommend it.

Everywhere - roadsides, paths etc spotless and full of trees and flowers. OK know they have the weather but puts ours to shame !

Very friendly Hotel. Access to beach and sea is lovely walking area.

Also first time with 'Just You' . Group was the best I have been with and really good company. (Been with Solo's before)

Hope you have a nice time.

Val

I got back from Costa de la Luz last week, a great holiday my first time in

this part of Spain. There was 40 of us on this holiday and several of us met

for the first time at East Midlands. The weather was fab so were the trips, I look

forward to my next JY holiday next year.

Peter returned from Punta Umbria/Costa de la Luz on 8th October this

year. Absolute fab holiday helped by the brilliant weather. You can walk as far or as little as you like during the holiday. Loads to do and see while we were there, however, not sure what would be open in November. On our 1st full day the main group walked into Punta Umbria town centre and 2 of us walked out to the point and back along the beach, which stretches for miles. Great choic

e of holiday. Even considering going back next October 2014.
