I'm going to India in October and was wondering about buying a mosquito net. Can anyone who has been, tell me if the hotels have them or not. June G.

I didn't see any in the hotels, but all of them are air conditioned, so as long as you keep the windows closed you should be fine

when we went to India we took those mosquito tablet plug in's which were quite handy though some hotels did have nets which you just pull down or if you ask reception they may be able to supply one but I would take the plug in as a precaution

Hi June, all the hotels have air con, so nets aren't necessary. Just make sure you leave the air con on when you go out and spray DEET around the room as well as on yourself! I did this tour in March last year and I don't think I saw a single mosquito!

All the best and have a great holiday,

Bob
