I'm a new solo traveller and have just booked my first holiday to Tuscany in October. Anyone else here booked to go?

I went to Tuscany last Sept for my first trip with JY.
In brief - you will love it !
Cecina is a lovely , small town (shops are closed on Mondays) next to the sea . Hotel staff are welcoming and friendly.
The hotel has a roof-top sunbathing balcony with good views of the locality.
I went on the included trips which were fascinating , but chose not to do the optional ones to have 2 seperate days on the beach (I hadn`t had a holiday for 3 yrs) and a few others did the same.
You will meet a good combination of people and have some laughs at stories JY`ers have to tell - they`ve all had the `first-time` nerves too !
No doubt seasoned travellers will recommend future trips - ask away !
It was a real learning curve for me - I felt after the holiday, that I should have linked-up with JY far sooner ! I`ve made 2 new friends ; 1 lady I`ve met in London already and I`m about to spend a weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon `touristing` with another - and of course we will always have JY in common!
I`m now booked on a long haul trip with JY this September .
I can only say that you will not regret grasping this fine opportunity to travel wherever you choose , in a safe, friendly environment .
Besides - you`ll have loads to talk about afterwards with the people you already know . Have a great time ! 🙂 Janet
