I need a holiday free of free friends or relatives (for many reasons, all completely justified) between the end of July and beginning of September due to (unfortunate) teaching commitments. I don't care how much how it costs, I just need to clear my mind and have a fun and relaxing time. Any advice anyone?

Dear Goatgirl,

If you don'tmind a long haul holiday, why not try the Golden West holiday, lots of places visited, plenty to see and do.

I've done this trip twice and never been disappointed ~ San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and lots inbetween.

You'll see some fascinitating places and make lots of new friends.

Otherwise, "the world's your oyster". Wherever you choose I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

I've made 8 trips with JY and had a great time on each one, either in the US or Eurpope.

Good luck and take the plunge.

Denise. :D:D:D:thumbup::thumbup:

Hello and welcome.

Last year I did the Austrian Lakes holiday in August which was really nice and although not a teacher myself there was a few on the trip.

Put in the dates you need to go between on the find a holiday page and see what pops up for you if money is not a problem, then push the boat out.

Like Mick I have been on the Austrian Lakes tour very nice and not to hectic, I also have been to Poland and Tuscany highlights both nice things to see but not a rush.

USA tours, Boston New England and New York, East Coastliner, Memphis and Nashville, great holidays well worth going on but can be exhausting,

Kenyan Safari fantastic to see the animals I also stayed on for the add on.

New Zealnd and Hong Kong stunningly beautiful but long days and forever on the move but so worth it...

I am sure you will find something. Great holiday you are well looked after ladies out number the Men!!! Age range anything from 20's - 80's everyone does mix really well.

If I can help with anything else just ask

Tell you what, if it's heat and relaxation you want, I'd recommend Apulia. It's a lovely part of Italy, enough history & culture to engage the heart and mind, and enough good food & wine to keep body and soul together!!

It's a nicely paced, gentle holiday with plenty of opportunities to use the hotel pool, lounge in the sun & generally chill in the sun!

I'm going back for another week this Summer.

Hi Goatgirl

I would suggest you look in the brochure to see what is on offer during this period and choose a destination which takes your fancy. I can assure you that travelling with Just You is great. I have been on 4 Just You holidays and have enjoyed every one of them. You are taken care of from start to finish.

Sincerely hope you find a holiday you like and book it.

Hi

I am also a teacher and always struggle to find suitable holidays in the summer holidays, there seem to be fewer and fewer choices each year. Last year I enjoyed the Prague, Budapest and Vienna holiday but it was not relaxing as it involved staying at three different hotels and a lot of packing!! This year I am going to the Austrian Lakes which looks very relaxing as I will be staying at the same hotel all week. There are some included excursions and optional ones so I will decide ow much sightseeing I want to do or how much I want to chill in the local area.

The most stressful part of my holiday will be the journey to Gatwick from Manchester, involving taxis, trains and an overnight stay at Gatwick - wonderful!!

I am sure you will enjoy a holiday with JY wherever you decide to go.
