As a new member I wondered if it was worthwhile to go one of the weekend breaks first to meet others............or should I just go straight into a 8 day holiday?

My first trip was a long haul "Americas Golden West" really enjoyed it and have got my 7th & 8th JY holidays booked. Never done a UK short break.

Its really just a matter of what feels right for yourself.

Have just been on a Discovery Weekend in Bournemouth. I booked it with some trepidation as I was not sure that 'singles' holidays were really for me. I am so glad I went; it allayed all my concerns and I am now avidly reading the 2013 brochure to decide where to take my first proper holiday.
