Hello J

Welcome to you, have you seen a tour that you fancy doing? Have a look at the two video links on here from myself (NIXON) and Lovely Lesley, they will give you an idea of what is what and also the TYPE !!!!! of person that goes on JY Tours. I am doing my 8th tour next week. AT 30 you would be in the younger bracket, main age group is 55-70 but there are younger and older as well,I am 53 and have been doing these holiday for 6 years, they are great fun, you see some fantastic countries and meet a great bunch of people. Please be assured there is nothing to worry about, it is all very safe and secure, we are all different some shy and some loud (think that's me), but it all works really well. I hope you give JY a go.

If I can help in any way just ask.

Cindy

Most people are nervous before their first group holiday but I can assure you once there you'll wonder why you worried.

Irrespective of age you'll find like minded people and have a great holiday.

The bottom line is that unless you try it you'll never know if its for you.

Hi! Don't just be tempted, go ahead and book one. I assure you that you will not regret it. I have been on 2 Just You holidays and had a wonderful time. Everyone is very friendly and you are very well looked after. As for the age range, there are not many 'young' people your age, but what is age - it is just a number! If you get on with people of all ages, you will have no problems at all. I was quite nervous when I booked my first trip to Jordan in 2009, but this all disappeared as soon as I reached the airport. There was someone to assist you at the check in desks and you met your fellow travellers in the lounge. I sat next to a lady on the plane and we have become good friends and keep in touch. She is younger than me - not sure of her exact age but I would say early 40s. I also keep in touch with another lady, who is going to be 80 next year, who I also met on the trip. By the way I am 55!

Hi 🙂

I too am early 30's and have booked my first trip with JY to China in March. I'm also very shy but desperate for a holiday so have plucked up the courage and am now so excited. I'm sure I will be nervous nearer the time but at the moment all I can think about is all the amazing things I'm going to do and the people I'll meet. Take the plunge and book something, it will be a trip of a lifetime I'm sure.

Hi Beeksy,

I did the China trip last March - & had a fantastic time - it was so much fun. Pace is quick but there is so much to see & do, so you won't have time to be nervous & Yes it will be a trip of a lifetime. The Great Wall is amazing.

Trouble is, once you do a trip like this, you want to see and do more, but there are so many other places for you to see too. There is a big world out there just waiting for you. It's Peru for me this March - hope it's as good as China because that will take some beating.

Have a great trip - I know you will.

Best wishes,

Lesley

Hi J,

I am 36 an have booked my first trip with JY. I am going on the Western American Tour in June (June 18th). I do feel quite nervous myself, but have put it to the back of my mind for now. I am aware I will be 1 of the youngest also, but hoping that means I will be looked after!

Hi J

I'm 40 and started booking holidays as a single traveller in my early 30s. I've just booked the Texas and New Orleans tour for September this year. I can't recommend Just You highly enough. I'm quite a shy person too, and was at first nervous about taking a holiday on my own, but Just You really know how to look after people and make everyone feel welcome. The ages ranges on these tours can be quite large, from people in their 20s to their 80s, so it's generally a good mix, and from my personal experience all the people on the tours have been lovely and friendly. The tour guides stay with you the whole time, and meet you and the rest of the group at the outbound airport. JY always plans really great excursions, and they're generally very reasonably priced. You'll get to socialise with everyone on your tour and you'll really enjoy yourself and wonder why you never tried single travelling before!
