Hi there

I have been lurking these boards for a while and looking at the various holidays. I have just had my 2nd anniversary of being single and I am sick of waiting around to go on holiday with coupled up friends so am going to take the plunge and go on holiday on my own. I have been on a 2 week holiday to Devon and Cornwall and flew to Dublin for a mini break on my own but nothing else.

I am hoping to do the Treasure of Andalucia next June. Hopefully see some of you then!

I am sure that what ever holiday you choose you will have a good time. I have done 7 tours with another booked for 2012.

Hi Angela

Good for you, Taking the plunge, Devon & Cornwall, Dublin are all great places. And your suggestion to the Treasures of Andalucia sounds very good to me, Although I have never been to that part of the world myself. The good thing is that you will have the assistance of a Tour Manager who will give you loads of advice and assistance, along with fellow travellers via this Forum. I personal am not good at thinking about things for too long, As if you keep looking at the pages in the Brochures. As you turn each page, You will like it. So my suggestion is to the first one you find appealling within your budget and give it ago. I can suggest and recomend, "Walking in The Ahr Valley" this is a short 5 day trip, Although it is classed as a walking holiday. It is very gentle and not too difficult, However this is via caoch, And dependant on what part of the country you are in. Could well be a long travelling experience, But certainly worth the effort. Also I can recomend The Austrian Lakes which is lovely and great scenery and a place very under rated by some.

I can aslo recomend The Bulgarian Balck Rivera if you fancy a beach trip. All are very different but all very good. Another good idea, Is perhaps a Discovery weekend within the UK, As they are held at many different parts and are full of useful information.

Good Luck

Andy
