I am pleased to finally find someone else who is booked on the same holiday as me. This will be my first holiday travelling on my own so, like you I am quite nervous but really looking forward to it. I have been to Austria before but not to the areas we will visit in August.

Thanks for replying. I have not been to Austria before and have always wanted to visit the Alpine region. I am flying from Manchester, as this is my nearest airport - I live in Shropshire. Like you I have never travelled abroad on my own before. :shy:

I will be travelling from Edinburgh. I work in Edinburgh and live in a country town just south of the city. I promise you will not be disappointed when you see the scenery in Austria. It is stunning!

Hi there. Thank you very much for your encouragement. I am really looking forward to the trip and, having read a lot of these messages, am quite sure I will meet lots of lovely people and have a great holiday. Can't wait - wish it was sooner!

It is nice to get encouragement from other travellers. I must admit that it was reading through the posts on Community that spurred me on to book a holiday with JY. Everyone sounds really friendly. I am really looking forward to this holiday too. :thumbup:

Great to hear lots of nice people are going on this holiday! I've done a few JY hols and always had a good time, so dont be scared.....

No I'm sure we won't be the only ones feeling apprehensive...just seems like it!! Like you I'm really looking forward to the holiday..I love seeing mountains and lakes and beautiful scenery. Im on this trip in August will be 6th with JY. Dont be nervous Im sure you will have a great time. There was a first time for all of us.

We may have a little gang going on here! Really looking forward to meeting you all in August, sure we will have a great time.
