My name is Maureen I have just booked Magnifisent Lake Garda for 25th September flynig from Manchester is there anyone else going on this trip or has anyone been before who would like to get in touch? I am quite nervous as not done anything like this before.HELP!!

I am sure you will have a great time I have been on two holidays with JY USA and Krakow, both times the people have been great and the Tour reps are VERY good,they will keep an eye on you.

I have been travelling singly for about 15 years and mostly with JY and during this time have met some really nice people some who I still keep in touch with. I know how it can be daunting but there is no need to worry as you are very well looked after by JY Tour Manager. I love meeting new people and each holiday is another adventure.

I went on the Magnificent Lake Garda holiday last year in June and it was really fantastic. It was the first time that I had travelled alone and I was a bundle of nerves when I arrived at Gatwick and nearly turned round and went back home again! Am I glad that I didn't! Everybody was so friendly and I had a wonderful time. If I can do it, then anybody can. The hotel was really good, as were all the trips, especially the one on the lake. Everybody got along very well together. As I had such a good time I decided to go a bit further afield this year and I have just returned from the American Parks and Canyons holiday which was truly magnificent and which I would thoroughly recommend. I hope that you all enjoy your holiday.

Thank you for your message it sounds good I know the days will be fine I am a bit nervouse about the evenings, do people on the holiday seem to eat and be together for the evenings or do people do their own things?whatever the case I am sure i will enjoy it I just love being on holiday and Italy is a favourite of mine.

Just got back from Lake Garda, and it was wonderful i have travelled all over the word but that must have been the most spectacularhols,we went to Verona and Venice but my favorite was to the museam to see the ice man dont miss it. and the night one was the trip on the Lake to Garda and sit on the lake side and watch the world go by .

Everyone in the group got on well we were ages from 28 to 80 and there was 8 men and 24 ladies but we had a great time . When you get to the airport lookout for people with the JFY lable and go and talk to them i did and we found about 10 before we boarded the plane .

If anyone from our group that went on the 26th June reads this then i would like to say thank you for making it the best trip ever.

Thanks for the info I am glad to hear you enjoyed it and it has made me look forward to my holiday even more even though as it gets nearer I get nervous. What happens in the evening do the group tend to eat and stay together or do they all do own things? dont find sitting in my room very appealing.

You asked about the night time ,we had 2 nights where we had a disco and everyone joined in , we were lucky we fell on a fiesta weekend and ther was a firework display one night and a band playing in the church grounds another and there was barn danceing in the village another so every night we had a good get together. the last evening some of them went out for a meal. Take a look round the village and stroll around you might find things going on. one night we went on a trip to garda oranised by the rep it was fantastic dont miss it if you get the chance to go.

Hi Folks, I have perused the Just You brochure again and again yet haven't taken the plunge. I'd really like to visit Canada especially the Rockies. I would hope to do this in 2008, it's just plucking up the courage. I live in Northern Ireland and apart from a few weekends away, I am not well travelled at all. I'm not into sunny climes so would be greatful for any suggestions and loads of encouragement. It would be great to hear from anyone who fancies Canada next year. Hope to hear from you. Thanks
