I'm feeling excited about my forthcoming trip, especially as a first time traveller to India and maybe a little apprehensive as a newbie with Just You Holidays too 😊 I've already connected with two others on this forum who are going, and it would be great to connect with others booked on the tour. Our plan is to create a WhatsApp group, to make it easier to chat ahead of our trip. Wishing happy and safe travels to those doing similar India tours in October and November, any hints and traveller tips would be welcomed and appreciated too 🇮🇳

Hi. I am also travelling at Xmas on the Spirit of India trip. It is my first time in India and my first time away over Xmas!. I travelled to Japan this year with Just You.. my first with the company and it didn't disappoint!.

Hi Elaine, Maggie and Linda,

 I am going to India this Christmas.  It is not my first visit to India, but it it is my first visit with Just You, although not my first holiday with them.

From experience, for the first 48 hours you will be in sensory overload - the heat,  noise, volume of people, traffic etc will be overwhelming, but you do adjust and settle down. Relax and let go of all your western values and standards and just think - this is India.  It is a wonderful country.
