Hi yes i am going on this trip to China in October 2025

I have just got my visa. No problem on line excepted first time went up to London to the visa placce

no problems there, not busy took less than hour, answered a few questions, like why you going, had my photo taken,

finger prints. Said it will take a few days could not go back to London so they sent it by post. Visa cost £162.00.

Got the visa back this week with visa in. Now all i have to do is send a copy of visa and passport to Just You

Getting excited and nervous not long to wait now have been with Just You before and expecting a great holiday.

Hi, getting excited about our China trip now. Just over 2 weeks to go. Any plans to meet up at the airport before our flight?

Also, can anyone advise on what to wear as I'm not sure if the weather will change as it's still quite warm there.

Hi Amanda

yes getting very close now excited and nervous altogether

What to wear go for layers cotton trousers, top and a nice warm fleece or jumper which you can take off

if you get too hot.  You may need a the fleece or jumper for the chinese wall you never know.

Hi Everyone

I did the China tour pre-pandemic but also in October. I suggest taking a couple of sweaters because, with the exception of Shanghai, it was bitterly cold when we were there. There is often smog, particularly in Beijing, which keeps the temperature down. Layers are definitely the way to go, but perhaps include some warm underlayers and even a pair of gloves, just in case. A waterproof jacket is a very good idea and it is worth noting that umbrellas are forbidden in Tiananmen Square which has airport style security searches on arrival. (Totally worth the queues though - the Forbidden City is incredible)

One final tip - pack some wet wipes and pocket packs of tissues to keep handy. Some of the 'facilities' can be an experience....!

Have an amazing time
