Booked for Albania in March. Can you only get local currency within Albania, as opposed to within the UK in advance? That's what t'internet is telling me and I can't seem to order from my usual outlets. Any tips? I like to have cash and card options just in case.

Hi Jane.  I'm on the March departure for the Albanian trip too.  I always have euros, both cash & on my card.  I did find an online site that sold Leks, but I am not buying any.  I will probably get some there, but as they take euros, although probably not in supermarkets, I won't be getting a lot.
