I'm staying at the Gatwick North Premier in (I'll get the shuttle over to South in the morning).  I assume you meant to say South Terminal, not T5 ... that's Heathrow !😅 Thanks for the advice re the currency, I'll probably get mostly Caribbean, and a few American then... St. Lucia do use UK plugs, I've checked, so no adaptors required.  Cannot wait for some sun and rum cocktails ! 😎🏖️🍹🩴👙🌞

yes It is premier inn at south terminal not T5 that I'm booked into. I'm so used to travelling from Heathrow!

it's a shame we not in same hotel,  could you not change to one by South terminal it's nearer for departure? 

as you say looking forward to a bit of sunshine & a few cocktails & meeting new people. 

hoping there won't be to much disruption with trains when I travel down on Sunday.

I checked my booking but unfortunately I am unable to either change the hotel, or even cancel the existing booking and rebook.  There's no direct messaging on this forum so I can't send you my phone or facebook details, but we could arrange to meet at the airport.  I'll be checking in as early as possible (7am ish), then having a quick mooch round the departure shops and stock up on plane snacks, then going for breakfast.  I know we've got lounge access, but last time I went to one it was packed, and the Trip Advisor reviews for this one are really mixed.  I usually go to Weatherspoons or one of the other restaurants.  I can arrange to meet you at say 8am for breakfast, or after if you're eating at your hotel.  What's your preference ?

that's a shame, I had option of changing booking but want to be at nearest hotel to terminal to save time in morning! I have already paid to pre booked my seat on flight. Hoping to be at check in by 7am look for bright fuchsia coloured case🤣🤣

You can't add someone on WhatsApp unless you have their phone no. so I've looked for you on FB, but there's no-one for Whitley Bay.  There are 2 options that mention Newcastle.  One mentions University of Hull, long brown hair (one L in surname) , and one blonde bobbed hair (2 Ls in surname) that doesn't seem to be a full profile, so I can't add as a friend, only send message
