Hi, looking for some guidance on how much cash to take on this trip - I'm assuming I'll need some Canadian dollars and some US dollars for tips if nothing else! Intend to use a card for most purchases so don't want to take too much cash. Would be grateful for advice from anyone who has done the trip or Just You team. Thanks.

Thanks so much for your message. When it comes to cash it can be a bit tricky to advise how much you'll need precisely and everyone is different as some people may like to purchase more souvenirs than others for example.

Naturally it's worth taking into account the number of meals which are included/not included as to how much you might need for food. It's customary to tip approximately 20% on meals but hopefully there are some folks on the forum who can advise what they found they needed on tour versus what monies they took with them.

And of course credit/debit cards as back up is always a good idea!
