I did this holiday last year in the spring. It's a beautiful area and the walks are very rewarding with all the wild flowers and butterflies at their best. The walking is fairly demanding, especially the walk of the Gods, and if you are used to using them walking poles may be useful. I didn't use them, but for me they may have been a liability as I have never used them before. Some of the group had proper walking boots, but I managed well with a stout pair of trainers. The steps at Positano were also a challenge, but I'm glad I did it! The hotel I really liked - a bit basic but with lovely views over the sea, and there is a very nice bar/cafe not far down the hill overlooking the harbour. I am sure you'll have a good time.

It's helpful to hear about the terrain and what kind of footwear worked for you, I've been wondering if I need to invest in proper boots or if sturdy trainers would be enough. I’ve heard the Walk of the Gods is incredible but also quite tough, so I might look into getting some walking poles just in case. Appreciate the tip about the steps in Positano too!
