Anyone else booked on this? I went in 2017 and, for the first time in my life, I am repeating a holiday! Mijas is gorgeous and the hotel very good. Would be great to hear from any fellow travellers now that the date is getting nearer!

Hi Debbie,

I am booked on this holiday & same date. I have been on this holiday twice before, last year & 2019, I think. It's a lovely holiday, so I thought I'd go again, without visiting the Alhambra Palace or Gibraltar. I am getting a bit nervous as it gets nearer, but I've always met very friendly people on the holiday. I'm flying from Heathrow, wishing it was Gatwick.

See you in Mijas anyway.

Hi Shirley ... nice to hear from you! Amazing that you have also done the same holiday before, I have lovely memories of my previous trip. I live in Bristol but I am doing the door to door pickup to Heathrow so I don't mind. It will be an early start though! I never get nervous because I travel so much on my own. People are always friendly. I am doing the trip to Gibraltar but not the Alhambra Palace because I am going there on another Spanish holiday in September. I look forward to meeting you in a few months!

Hi , I'm also going on this holiday but flying from Newcastle! My first solo holiday so although I'm looking forward to it ,I'm expecting the nerves to build nearer the time ! See you both there !

Hi Lillian,

It's a lovely holiday, I've been on it twice.

You'll be fine, I get nervous, until I meet some of the group at the airport, everyone has been so friendly each time.

Mijas is so pretty, and you can walk from the hotel to the all the shops, only takes minutes.

Hi Lillian ... good to hear from you! Honestly, there is nothing to be nervous about. Which you will realise even before you leave the UK! Are you flying from Heathrow? People get chatting in the departure lounge then we all sit together on the flight. Job done!!

I'm going this coming Thursday and am really looking forward to it. I'm booked for the Gibraltar trip too.

This is my second Justyou trip, I went to the Lake District last July and loved it. So very well organised.

I do have a query though. We don't have paper tickets so do I just show our booking number when I get to check in at Heathrow?

Hi Kathryn ... paper tickets finished many years ago. You just hand over your passport at the BA check-in .... they will know which flight you are on. Enjoy your holiday!

Hi Shirley. Debbie and Lillian. I'm booked on this trip too and so excited as I haven't been to Spain since before Covid. I'm coming from South Wales and figuring out the best way to get to Heathrow. Can't wait to get to Mijas, I've wanted to visit there for a long while.

Hi there! Amazing that 4 people are on this trip and using the chat forum! I have been travelling almost non-stop since Covid restrictions were lifted, but not been to Spain for a few years. I am getting picked up from home in Bristol, it was part of the package when I booked last April. It is very easy to get to Heathrow from here by coach, I am going next week as I am off to India. Not with JY. So ... some of us will meet at Heathrow on 18th May and get the party started! Look forward to it.

On a repeat trip to this hotel my group of friends took the bus to Marbella on a free day and self booked the Sherpa's food tour in Malaga, both worth doing.

I've just seen that you're on this holiday as well. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone who's joined in on these chats. I'm travelling from Chichester Sussex, it's a pity I missed the chauffeur driven car offer , that I was able to use last year. Hi ShirleyG. I've booked a hotel for the 17th so just need to sort out a coach. A friend has now booked on this trip too as he is quite nervous of doing a solo holiday so at least I have company to travel up to Heathrow. See you all at the airport x
