Yes , I am off to Iceland with just you for new year, I would love to see a Scottish trip for new year with a murder mystery twist included. Maybe staying in country house hotel, with trips out to interesting places. I think that would be popular.

Hi Sue,

There are about 49 people booked on this date but there is still plenty of availability for the New Year Celebrations at the Hinkley Island Hotel, the reason it isn't showing on the website is a set-up issue... I have flagged it with the appropriate team and hopefully this will be resolved sooner rather than later.

If you can't wait to book, whilst we can't take the booking online, one of lovely holiday advisors should be able to help.

Kindest regards,

Julia

I would enjoy a Scottish trip with a murder mystery, it would get everyone

Participating, and talking to each other, great idea. More all inclusive holidays needed

Hi Will

Just thought I ought to write and tell you I have been to costa del la lux twice and the whole holiday

From the time you leave England to the time you return is absolutely fantastic, hotel, food, accommodation, and Jackie the rep is the best, nothing is too much trouble, and she's a very nice person, anyone choosing this holiday

Is in for a good time, can we have more like this,

Hi Will,

Agree with above comments about Hogmanay in Edinburgh instead of the Christmas trip.

Eric

I agree with all the comments regarding Hogmanay in Edinburgh, What about a Christmas break and Hogmanay with the option of doing both or choosing the one you prefer.

I would really have loved to do Iceland for New Year, it was in the Christmas brochure but has now disappeared so I am guessing it is not running!

Afternoon Will,

Last year I was at Lake Como for Christmas and couldn't have chosen a better holiday!!

The hotel was fantastic, the trips were excellent. However, the best one was the trip to St. Moritz ~~ couldn't have asked for a better one!

Christmas Dinner in the hotel was unbelievable.

Best of all was the Tour Manager, Richard Lord. I hope that one day I might be on another tour with him. Best of the best!!!

Hi Will,

I think New Year in Edinburgh would be nice.

I also like the combined Christmas and New Year in New York(but that might be quite expensive opion).

I also think new year in Edinburgh would be great.

Hi Will

I have noticed that although JU offer many Christmas breaks there are a limited number of New Year trips. I would have thought that there would be quite a few people who may not be able to travel over the Christmas period but would like a week away from say the 29th/30th December, and probably somewhere warm, like the Canary Islands.

You also do not seem to offer many options for short haul winter breaks, is there a reason for this?

Thanks BB

Hi Will, just to add to BettyBoo's comments above re lack of short haul winter breaks. eg all the tours in Italy stop in October and don't restart until April. Don't know if it is because the hotels close down (I think the hotel you use on the Cilento Coast does) but do all of them? I know that I like travelling in cool weather (and don't mind if its really cold), prefer to travel in cooler weather. I would be really interested in doing some of your tours in November - March (although not at Christmas/New Year) - eg Venice and the Villas of the Veneto in November or February; or Apulia or the Italian Riviera. Is there some reason these tours are not possible then?

Hi Katy,

in general it is usually because the hotel or resorts close down for the winter. We try and run tours when everything is going to be open because we want people to have a complete experience.

Thanks

I don't know for certain but I would assume that in the past the NY breaks weren't very popular. This is something we can revisit though for sure.

thanks
