Hi,

On the daily mail website there was an article today about the ghost town of Roscigno Vecchia. It has a very interesting history and it is a place you visit if you do the excursion to the Cilento National Park. The old man in the video still lives there and i met him when i went to Cilento a couple of years ago!

Enjoy!

Mark

Thanks Mark! I only did the National Park trip the first time I went when it was a visit to the Monastery and the Caves. I know JY don't do the caves any longer on this optional excursion and didn't do it last time as I did the Amalfi and Ravello trip. I heard about it afterwards and would have loved to have seen the ghost town.

Thanks, Mark. Sounds interesting. Wasn't sure if I was going to do that excursion but may change my mind now after reading that article.

Hi Mark

You were lucky! I have just come back from the Cilento Coast holiday and there was no mention of that place at all (I did all the excursions except Salerno and am sure they didn't go there).

In fairness though, it was an absolutely lovely holiday in all other respects.

Regards

Sue
