Returned back from this trip on Tuesday 9th. Overall the whole tour was “Amazing”, and all the fellow traveler were good company.

The highlights for me was the fantastic views crossing the Andes Mountains and the stunning beauty of the Iguazu Falls from the Argentina and Brazilian sides.

There were couple of disappointments, for me personally but wouldn’t bother to mention as I enjoyed the whole tour regardless.

Happy travelling to anyone considering this holiday, cheers.

Hi Drewpat,

I'm delighted you enjoyed your CAB tour so much - I did it back in 2012 and it remains one of my favourite tours.  Apart from the highlights you mention, I really loved seeing the iconic sights in Rio and the trip to the ranch in Buenos Aires, a wonderful city.

All the best,

Bob

Thanks Bob,

Just to say, that the day we were going to Sugarloaf Mountain the authorities had closed the site for cable lift maintenance, very disappointing. The alternative offered was to do Riobay cruise, which was ok, however there were too many other people on the boat, not easy to take pictures!!. On the day we visited the famous statue of Christ, there was mist hence not very good pictures.

The ranch experience in Buenos Aires was very interesting, but I was unable to do the horse riding and feel that the horse handler was not very helpful when attempting to mount and this was my first time to do the riding!!, very unhappy.

Best Wishes,

Drewpat.

Hello Drewpat,

Sorry to hear of the niggles to which would have been a great holiday. Have done Buenos Aires, Iquacu Falls and Rio with another travel company. Sugar Loaf we only managed to the first stage as it was so busy and the queue wrapped around the rock for the lift upto the second stage. Christ the Redeemer was a tick on a long list and did not disappoint even with a lot of cloud around. The best was 6 million on Copacabana Beach for New Years Eve in the rain  at 25 degrees with David Quetta and 15 minutes of fireworks 🙂

Buenos Aires was so colourful. We were looking around a street craft fair on Christmas Day and then a Tango show with Argentine beef and Malbec wine for the evening. Saw Eva Peron's grave in the Ricoletta and ate ice cream in the sun. Iquacu Falls were just wow
